you were the moon and i was the star,
we die every night just so the sun can be seen from a far
the only difference is that i did it for us to be together
but then you did it for the sun to love you better
when would be the time that the star and the moon would meet half way
for the moon and the sun has always a reserved day
to show the world how beautiful they were
when two complete opposites are combined together
and from then on i admired you from a light year
silently praying that even from a far distance you would hear
how the star loved you, even when you hid from the clouds
and how the sun loved you, for the sake of the crowds.
time passes and my skin starts to glow
a signal for me that it is time to go
because not all stars last forever
but my love for you darling can never falter.
goodbye and farewell
ive noticed you heard the crack of my shell
you turned to me showing the world your half
but then the sun noticed and continued to laugh
i was happy that you noticed, even if i was dying
i was happy that you noticed, even if the sun was laughing
because that was the moment i knew you some how cared
for a nobody that stood by you even if i was impaired.
goodbye and farewell
i hope that you wouldnt dwell
the fact that you’ve lost another star
a star thar you’ve never noticed from a far.
but dont you worry,
the universe is not in a hurry,
there could be other stars that area replica of yours truly
but always remember that no one has ever loved you as i have loved you deeply.
- c.a, the day she wrote her feelings on spilled ink.
this was an activity in our English class and we needed to make a poem out of "love"
